Unbelievable as it may sound, the City of North Vancouver will once again decide on the fate of the Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre. After over a year of planning and input from all stake holders and an initial design which was passed by the previous council, this new council has decided it knows better and will makes its own decision on Harry Jerome.  On the chopping block is the Curling Rink, the 50 meter pool, tennis courts and walking track. Windows are being removed and the height of the facility being lowered.  In other words, there will be no change from what the present facility offers.

On Monday March 4th, we once again need your support to address council and explain how short slightness their decision would be to go with the proposed reductions. Meeting starts a 6 pm but sign up to speak opens at 5:30 pm.  Let not let all the work which has taken place go to waste.  Your voice needs to be heard
