The city of North Vancouver has already outgrown the existing 25 meter pool. The new proposed pool is also a 25 meter pool. Construction cost $18 Million. The city hired consultance have cost out a 50 Meter pool at $28 Million. This will allow aquatic programs to grow and the city the ability to attract aquatic events which will offset operating cost. If we want our youth to be fit and healthy, we have to provide the facilities and the means to do it. Let the city councillors know you want a fit and health community for all ages. Lets get a 50 meter pool

I just signed the following petition addressed to: City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver. We need a 50 Meter pool to serve the North Shore citizens of the present and future. The present aquatic facilities are sub-standard and the proposed new pools do not meet the needs of the North Shore Citizens
