New gun legislation is being pushed by Virginia legislators could go into effect as early as Jan 2020. This is not a partisan issue, this is a constitutional rights issue. We are on the cuffs of losing our basic human rights to defend ourselves and our families using an equalizer of force. Under new proposed legislation any semi-automatic shotgun or rifle will be considered an "assault firearm", that's right ANY semi-auto shotgun or rifle and to top it off all pistol magazines shall be limited to 10 rounds and any pistol with a magazine limited over 10 rounds will also be considered an illegal 'assault firearm'.

Law abiding citizens who fail to comply, who in turn may have never had a run in with the law in their lives will be considered as committing the act of a felony if they do not dispose of and turn in your guns that meet this broad, loosely worded criteria. After July 2020, Virginia legislation has proposed to enforce confiscation of firearms falling underneath this blanket umbrella. You heard me right..... CONFISCATION USING FORCE!!! This is just the scratch of the surface with their new common sense gun laws. If this can happen in Virginia, it can happen anywhere... don't wait until it happens. Time is of the essence and the time to act is now! Sign this petition and share it to let our representatives know we will NOT extinguish our rights under any circumstance and will NOT recognize any legislature that infringes upon our Constitutional rights.

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
