Prevent the Building of a Cell Phone Tower

The Issue

Rainbow Ranch Petting Zoo has been around for 20 years, with thousands of people coming out to visit each year. It has been remarked many times about the unique atmosphere of the farm, not many non commercialized places exist anymore. Rainbow Ranch would like to keep its 170 year old unique farm legacy and continue to share its quaintness with the public. However, the view of Rainbow Ranch would change if a 358 ft cell phone tower gets built right across the road from the establishment. Although we all love our cell phones  there are much more suitable places for a tower to be built. On that same note, cell phone towers communicate through RF waves. The World Health Organisation's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) claims radiation from cell phone towers is "possibly carcinogenic to humans" and who knows the effects on animals. Although this is based on limited evidence, Rainbow Ranch feels it is in the best interest of the business and the thousands of visitors each year to build the tower somewhere more appropriate. We hope to prevent the tower from being built to keep the farm experience alive and maintain the best interest of our visitors and animals. If you agree with us we urge you to sign the petition.
