The city of Muskegon has okayed the sale of a building and plot of land to Northern Bio-medical Research. This company does animal testing for medical reasons. The facility will use canines, primates, pigs, guinea pigs, and rabbits. Medical testing on animals, though legal, is inhumane and an archaic practice. A large percentage of medical professionals have stated that animal testing is unnecessary and does not guarantee any usable results.

These animals are kept in kennels and tested upon. They never see the light of day. They never feel the loving touch of a human hand. They are poked, prodded, and studied. Then they are killed and their bodies incinerated.

This is no way of life for any animal. We must say no to this facility in our community. As well as stop this as a practice world wide.
