For months now, we, here in Moreno Valley have been plagued, night after night, with people blasting off illegal fireworks.  It isn’t just a simple noise problem, the shock of the percussion explosions, The property damage and threat of fire with every explosion are truly disturbing the peace of many residents. Exacerbating this are the increased loss of animals frightened off with these explosions at no reasonable or predictable time of day. There is no way to shelter or protect animals as on, say, 4th of July when we know there will be fireworks. So may have called Moreno Valley police with absolutely no response. Your Fireworks Task Force isn’t solving anything either.
We, Moreno Valley Residents, demand action be taken. We demand concentrated effort be put into apprehending the perpetrators and putting an end to this constant, daily disturbance. They are now going off all times of day. There is no safe time. 
Debris from fireworks set off Saturday night, June 13, 2020 were all over street and sidewalk area of Alta Vista just west of Indian by the drainage area going under that street. A lot of graffiti was on the cement walls of that drainage ditch, too. These percussion fireworks are exploding from 7am to 3am and go off in many different areas of Moreno Valley. They have been going off every night since early March. This has got to stop!
