Pigs make wonderful pets and are much like dogs, just more intelligent. Having an ordinance like we do banning hooved animals as pets causes lots of trouble for residents. Many who have already bonded with their pigs face expensive citations as well as Minneapolis Animal Care and Control removing them from their homes by force. By not allowing pigs as pets we are removing residents abilities to have their pets seen and treated by veterinarians. We are also limiting people from experiencing the emotional support these intelligent, gentle creatures provide for their care-takers. Please help me in petitioning the City of Minneapolis to remove the ban on Pigs!
