Thank you all for signing and sharing this petition to keep our park public and protect the natural conservation areas. A fellow community member wrote an email to the Parks & Recreation Department director in Miami Beach, Mr. John Rebar. He stated that the North Shore Open Space Park is going through a master planning process. They are currently conducting a tree survey as part of the master plan. He confirmed there was a contribution from the developer connected with this project, $6.7 million dollars. He also stated that the entire park will remain a public park. However, we are still waiting for the official master plan from Ms. Diana Fontani, who works with the CIP department in the City of Miami Beach. We will keep you posted.
