Very large projects have been moving forward that are affecting citizens quality of life and in some cases their physical safety . Narrowing of roads , elimination of street parking downtown , and more are proposed . The cost to  taxpayers and the ongoing disruptions are concerning . 

Our downtown core has been negatively impacted with extended construction and loss of parking . The business owners of that area are floundering because of it . It seems the city has not considered the impact of these " projects " around the city and there needs to be some form of accountability and thought process of who and why these projects are being implemented . 

We need to halt the process for a real world review and impact assessment before and not after the decision has already been made  . Street narrowing , roundabouts ,  crosswalk extensions etc .
