If you are concerned that recent complaints about coyote sightings may result in an over-reaction to needlessly harm, interfere or harass natural populations of coyotes in Markham and York Region in general, please sign this petition.  Along with this petition, representing a great majority residents of Markham and surrounding communities who are opposed to the extreme counter-measures and 'solutions' being promoted, such as culling (shooting), poisoning, trapping (using live traps and lethal traps) and mass relocations (to other communities).

The goal is to have City of Markham action be balanced and with both sides equally heard and represented, rather than a small but vocal minority calling for extreme measures.  Lets not be a silent majority.
