Commissioner Shepherd is sponsoring a city ordinance to "forbid persons under specific ages from entering, remaining in, or loitering at certain licensed premises"

This means that anyone under the age of 21 would not be able to enter into and not limited to bars, taprooms, or clubs except for during entertainment hours, "...only during, and in the course of their employment as entertainers..." 

The Council has a preliminary vote with a final tally of 4 opposed and 3 for the ordinance. However, they haven't heard any voices opposed to the ordinance. They are having public hearings and the last one will be this Tuesday at 2:15 at 700 Poplar St.
