The Elysian Park Stables Co-Op  (EPSCO) is a unique and beautiful animal refuge that preserves the rural and agricultural past of Los Angeles. Since 1907, we've hosted many equine and barn friends who need rest, calm trail rides, and loving care. We hope to continue to do so in the future.

However, recently the Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) has ordered our co-op stables to shut down. We are currently exploring our options with the city.

We believe our stables are a valuable community asset, and the housing department (HCIDLA) should focus its limited resources on other more pressing concerns facing the citizens of Los Angeles. Our horses are happy, loved and well cared for and they deserve to stay in their home.
