As a lifelong LA citizen and sports fan, Staples Center encompasses every memory anyone who has visited the arena has had. S. Figueroa Street. Kobe Bryant. Blake Griffin dunking over a KIA. Every concert before, during and after. Staples Center is an iconic name and when crypto.com inevitably runs out of venture capital in 5 years, we will have wasted those years of emotional duress for what? I think we can all agree that change is necessary at times, but this is not one of those times. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Leave well enough alone. There is a very simple solution- leave Staples Center, Staples Center.
