Stop the anti-social behavior and littering in Epping Forest

The Issue

Many parts of Epping Forest, with High Beech now as a focal point have become subject to regular mass gatherings and anti-social behavior  This has become a persistent problem and the litter and waste left behind is now at an unprecedented scale.

The Forest and surrounding roads are supposed to be open to all but have become no go areas because of the scale of the anti-social activities. This is damaging to the environment, wildlife and creating a problem for local residents and forest users.

We the undersigned request that the relevant authorities come together to deal with this in an appropriate and effective manner rather than continue to turn a blind eye to the blatant drug dealing, public order offences and mass littering problems and other offences that are destroying our local beauty spots and creating a hostile and potentially dangerous atmosphere for legitiamte forest users and local residents.

We expect more from our local authorities than a blind eye being turned and just simply hoping for bad weather to alleviate the problems.
