�PETITION TO MAKE THE CITY OF LETHBRIDGE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEADLY FOXTAIL WEEDS!

�Foxtails are a prolific weed growing all over our beautiful town that release a dangerous barbed seed harmful to animals. If the seeds are infested they can restrict the airway, being potentially deadly to your pets. They frequently get into ears, noses, gums, mouths, and can even cause severe skin infection as they burrow into the skin. 

�These plants are often seen on undeveloped land around the city, alleyways, and parks. The city is doing NOTHING about them as they are not listed as a “noxious weed”.

�These weeds are causing hundreds to thousands of dollars in vet bills and severe trauma to these animals as they have to be sedated to be removed. 

�Did you know if one of your neighbours had an unsightly yard or was not maintaining the weeds, you can call the city and complain? WHH ARE THE RULES ANY DIFFERENT FOR THE CITY OF LETHBRIDGE?
