Problem
Stephen Hillenburg was an icon of the cartoon world. The creator of popular cartoon Spongebob Squarepants tragically passed away after a battle with ALS. The Lawton born Hillenburg touched the hearts of millions and deserves to be remembered with a memorial.

Solution
Trough funding from the city, a small memorial should be provided for a place for fans to mourn the loss of an animation legend.
