This petition is to remove a confederate marker in the city of  Lancaster, Texas.
Texas Historical Commission voted to let the marker stay. The marker is located at the old library in Lancaster on Main St. Please sign this petition to have this marker removed from our community. The only way we can move forward as a nation, is if we start to move forward within our own communities. We shall not tolerate any form of glorifying white supremacy within our city. Signing this petition will begin to shine a light on a brighter future for Lancaster. That future is growth, equality, and place where people of all races can feel proud and comfortable to call home.
