Volleyball is a growing sport which relies on and promotes teamwork, agility, athleticism, and determination.  Kingwood could greatly benefit by offering this as an adult recreational activity, and possibly in the future as a community youth league.  Currently, Preston High School is at a disadvantage to surrounding counties, as Preston County does not have middle school volleyball, as do the majority of counties in the surrounding area, so most Preston High Volleyball players first experience with the sport as an organized activity is when they reach high school in 9th grade.
