For three days in row I saw this poor creature laying in the same spot in her backyard. On day three I went in for a closer look and was appalled by what I saw. A broken leg and open, festering sores that flies were laying their eggs in! Animal control was called and I was informed that the only thing they could do was to leave the "owner" a citation stating that they need to get the dog veterinary care. I'm starting this petition to have the dog removed from the home. I will personally take responsibility for her and give her the veterinary care she so greatly needs and deserves. Please help me garner enough signatures to take to my city's animal control service.
