Aureole Road is becoming notorious for nasty accidents as it has not been attended to since lockdown and it is deteriorating fast. In the recent past there has been several fatalities on that short stretch of road and we do not see any plans from the City of Joburg to upgrade the road despite the perceived increase in the volume of traffic.

With increasing developments in and around Cosmo City, Aureole Road, which is one of the tributary roads connecting Cosmo City and its surroundings, is now unable to accommodate the increased traffic, therefore it is reasonable to demand the City of Joburg to prioritize it and construct a bridge at the lower part of the road.

We demand that JRA , the roads agency of the City of Joburg to prioritize the rehabilitation and upgrade of this road as a matter of urgency before too many lives are lost.
