Early in June 24th Leon Bennett was murdered at Jacksonville Beach due to a senseless act of violence. Leon left behind family & an abundance of friends who have made a beautiful memorial scene at the corner of 7th ave & 1st st in remembrance of him. Leon was such a great soul to be around, he’d give the shirt off his back to a stranger if needed. Leon passed protecting someone else & that alone shows the type of man he is. We are asking a permanent memorial to be decidicated to Leon to show not only his friends & family but others of how great of a person he was. Leon impacted so many lives & we do not want him to be forgotten.
