A young boy from Jacksonville, Florida videoed the filthy conditions of several rooms in his mothers home along with photos of his emaciated Great Dane Alaska and sent them to his aunt in Wisconsin asking for her help to save his dog.
The Father, on behalf of the children, adamantly request any law enforcement, or any certified animal control officer, to immediately rescue Alaska, and safely return her to the care of the Father, and the children, pursuant to their authority to do so under Florida Law and bring criminal charges to the mother.
Once Alaska is seized by an authorized agency, the Father, on behalf of the children, will immediately intervene in any Court proceedings to attempt to retake possession of Alaska, and ensure Alaska’s health and safety is protected. The Father, on behalf of the children, is intent on nursing Alaska back to full health, and providing Alaska with the love and care she so much enjoyed in the past. The Father, on behalf of the children, will continue his unwavering pursuit to reunite Alaska with her family, and see Alaska is nourished back to a full recovery in a happy home.
The Father, and the children, remain appalled by Animal Control’s decision not to immediately seize Alaska, despite clear evidence Alaska is being neglected. How Animal Control could leave Alaska in her current environment expecting Ms. Rossow to nurse Alaska back to health is beyond comprehension. Animal control has present authority under Florida Law to immediately seize Alaska, and end her suffering, yet Animal Control refuses to do so.
The Rossow children, and their Father, as adamantly as possible, requests Animal Control, or the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to immediately seize and rescue Alaska from Ms. Rossow’s home, and return Alaska to the children at their Father’s home, so veterinary treatment may be immediately administered and begin Alaska’s path towards a full recovery.
