Dear All (3,120 HBCA List Members )

Over the past year, the HBCA has followed the proposals for development at 1301 South Ocean Drive with extreme attention. This included watching numerous commission meetings, many interactions with unit owners, residents, and neighbors of the project. 

We feel the project would change the character of the City property at the Hollywood Beach Community Center from the people’s place to a high-rise private condo building.

At the February 2nd Commission Meeting, there will be an item to vote on this very important issue.

We need you to contact our commissioners and leave no doubt in their minds that the community strongly opposes the development.
