It has come to the Sixes communities attention that there is an annexation request to rezone 18 acres next to the mill on Sixes Road for 142 new townhomes to the left of the mill on Sixes Rd. 

For this proposed development it would require a new light going in at the development and cause more congestion on a major thoroughfare for the community. There is no light or intersection for people to get out of this proposed development which means drivers leaving this property will have to travel west before making a U-turn to exit and to access I-575.

We already have many apartments being approved and don’t want the growth the rest of the county.

As a neighborhood we are very conscious about the types of housing and how that can impact our roadways, school systems and overall way of life.

I oppose the rezoning for townhomes.
