April 1st Carlos Rivera’s family received tragic news that he was SHOT in Lawrence MA and is in critical at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen MA, Carlos became stable when he was transferred to a hospital in Cambridge, but unfortunately never came out of the Coma after being in it for about a week! While Carlos was fighting to pull through another young beloved soul was lost due to violence as well, Carlos story was NEVER told until his passing and even then Eagle Tribune LIED about his passing and story! Carlos was STILL fighting for his life when Eagle Tribune claimed he LOST his life. Carlos was most definitely a real special guy for the young ones in Haverhill he inspired so many kids to do better and always looked out for anyone even if he barely knew you! Carlos would always make sure you are okay no matter what he is going through, he put everyone but himself first. We still don’t have the real full true story on his passing, we don’t know the ending of his story, HIS LEGACY, so I’m proposing to at least keep his name and legacy alive for all he’s done to our young people in Haverhill and have How St named after him for all he has done for the YOUTH
