The Issue

My beloved dog, Jack was hit and killed on impact when a car hit him. The speed limit on E Second is 25 but jack was hit at about 45 mph. Jack was a large over 100 pound shepherd.
Also, the intersection of E 2nd and N Maple St needs stop signs, not yield signs. I believe there are no Gilman police monitoring the town, so many people are ignoring speed limits. I’d like the city to put up signs that say slow down along  e second st by the high school to remind drivers of the speed limit.
The neighborhood is full of families with kids and pets. Please do not let what happened to Jack happen to another pet or a child.
