908 Group is planning on tearing down the Swamp Restaurant, Larry’s Subs, the only convenient Post Office by campus, and many other businesses to create yet another “luxury” apartment next to campus. Gainesville will lose it’s college town feel and midtown will be completely changed if future plans occur. Swamp is a student and alumni favorite and this would greatly impact the Gator community. Let’s show that we do not support this and want to keep this iconic place!

Update: There is currently a Florida State House Bill to make Swamp a Historic Building! Call your representatives to pass the bill!
