Last week there were been 2 pedestrians hit and killed days apart crossing 301.

Jesse Adam's, 19, was struck and killed walking home from work. Jenn Berger, was attending a vigil for Adam's and struck as she walked home.

As the residents, and travelers on these roads and side roads, we know how dark they are at night. Many people walk these road, and many stretches of the side roads, it's completely dark. it's hard to see the people walking on the sides of the road at all.

many people in this area have to walk to or from the bus stop at walmart and thru the areas to get home or to work.

I want to ask the city to extend the street light program passed the Walmart area, to light the path for pedestrians walking on the street. As these streets fall under city jurisdiction, it is their duty to fix them to make them safer for citizens using them
