The citizens in Fayetteville no longer have confidence in the leadership of police Chief Gina Hawkins as she has failed to fulfill her promises of transparency and reform within the FPD.

Chief Hawkins is currently under investigation by The Fayetteville Ethics Commission after 14 complaints were made against her. Those allegations are Hawkins used her patrol car for personal business, hired a gang member, issued disparate disciplinary actions based on age and race, and was stopped several times for speeding. Several allegations are also tied to the department's K-9 trainer and claims Hawkins had her personal dog trained by the city's K-9 trainer. 

Most recently, Chief Gina Hawkins has completely failed in her handling of the Jason Walker MURDER by an off-duty sheriff's deputy. To begin with, the situation should have been handled as any shooting would have been, but this off duty officer received treatment that no citizen of Fayetteville would get. Her botched press conference filled with misinformation, insinuations, and lack of transparency further widened the disconnect between law enforcement and the citizens of Fayetteville. 

Chief Hawkins must go!!!
