Kenny Mcelhinney started this petition to City of Edinburgh Council

Edinburgh council are planning to create a central parking zone in the Saughtonhall/Balgreen area. This means residents will no longer be able to park outside their properties and pay the council for the pleasure to maybe get a space in the area. They are planning put yellow lines down quiet residential streets and this will in turn create a parking issue.

Parking in the area is not busy but the council think that the area is being used as a place for commuters to park the vehicles and take public transport into town. This is not true.

Local residents should not bear the brunt of this as it is an unnecessary money making scheme. Please support this petition to stop the council from creating these parking zones and let Edinburgh council know this is unfair and unacceptable.
