In light of current budget pressures, City of Edinburgh Council have been forced to consider the removal of nursery teachers from classes, and nursery headteachers from nurseries.  Research shows that high quality early years provision, led by highly qualified staff such as teachers and headteachers, results in greater developmental, social and educational progress for our children.

Please sign this petition, calling on City of Edinburgh Council to not go ahead with this proposal, but to keep nursery teachers in nursery classrooms.
