HOW MUCH DO YOU KNOW ABOUT the future of HOUSING in EASTVALE?  The City of Eastvale is preparing a document that could change the fabric of our community forever.  Do the terms HOUSING ELMENT, General Plan, SCAG, and Regional Housing Needs Allocation sound familiar?  Or how about the varying levels of High Density Housing, such as HIGHEST DENSITY Housing being proposed in our city?  Unfortunately, most Eastvale Residents do NOT know a lot about these topics, despite how IMPORTANT they are to every city.  Many other cities have held multiple public workshops for their residents, but our city has simply presented information to the Planning Commission and City Council.

Our group sought to inform residents about the HIGHEST DENSITY project at Sumner Place, but what we have uncovered is an even BIGGER PROBLEM that will affect ALL RESIDENTS.  Our city has not reached out to residents on these critical housing decisions being made.  We are racing against the clock as our city prepares to submit this document to the state of California despite not having true PUBLIC WORKSHOPS and giving residents authentic opportunities to digest the information and ask questions.
