Recognize the need for better waterslide access for local giraffes

The Issue

Giraffes in the greater Duvall and Carnation area do not have adequate access to waterslides. The region is spending $4.9 million on an animal bridge over Novelty Hill Road, when some of this funding could have been spent on a waterslide, or even an animal-friendly slip-and-slide, which giraffes also love. It's just not fair. King County needs to stop pandering to deer, rabbits, and coyotes, and recognize that giraffes need equal-access to water features.
