Dublin's Bridge Street Corridor Project calls for the re-alignment of Riverside Drive and a roundabout at the intersection of Riverside Drive and State Route 161.

The City of Dublin is considering a proposal to completely close the 161 Bridge during the construction, which could take a year or MORE! 

25,000 vehicles pass through that intersection on SR 161 each day.

Closing that bridge would bring major consequences to the local economy, seriously disrupt commuter traffic throughout Dublin, and potentially hinder emergency vehicle access.

Dublin City Council has a less restrictive option than a complete closure of the bridge and intersection.

We all understand that to make positive long-term changes in Dublin, we will have to endure some inconveniences, and we support Dublin’s continued growth. 

However, the proposed closing of the bridge during the construction of Riverside Dr. is not merely an inconvenience, it would be devastating.
