I am starting this petition to help my neighbor, Robert Wade, keep his two dogs. He was contacted by Terri Baker from Animal Control in Kentucky today and told his dogs would be seized today if they are not relocated because they resemble the American Pit Bull Terrier. There was no ordinance online, so I went to the city and they produced a copy of Ordinance 91.24 and 91.30. I spoke with Mayor Virgil Boruske and he also said that he told Terri Baker to seize the dogs even though he has had them for years and last year Animal Control told him he could keep them. I have met both of his dogs, Diamond and Molly (who is deaf). They are the sweetest, most loving dogs. Robert rescued both of them and now they are going to be taken from his home for no reason. They have neither bitten anyone nor been running loose. The only "law" that has been "broken" is that they resemble a certain breed.
