We are pleased that Judge Greenberg is allowing Dallas Pets Alive to proceed in the fight to save Rusty by denying the City’s Plea to the Jurisdiction. Dallas Pets Alive has continually offered the City of Dallas a positive solution that meets the needs of all parties. While we remain hopeful we can reach a long overdue agreement on this matter we expect the City will appeal this ruling as they did the prior ruling. Unfortunately this means Rusty remains in a kennel at Dallas Animal Services, where he has been for almost three months. We sincerely thank the community for their unwavering support of our fight for Rusty’s life. We ask you to continue to contact your elected officials and urge them to allow Rusty to go to a sanctuary rather than be killed. Please remember to remain positive in your advocacy for Rusty.
