The city of Clifton, New Jersey Animal Control has unjustly murdered a young pit bull named Capone. On October 11th, 2014 Clifton Animal Control was called to Highland Avenue in Clifton, NJ for an alleged vicious dog attack on another dog. When the A.C arrived to the scene they found that the attacking dog was a pit bull and immediately without any investigation or medical evaluation of the other dog (which was not injured), bullied the dog owner to surrender the pit bull by providing false and inaccurate information. Many eyewitnesses were present including a Clifton police officer (who's hand was being lick by the pit bull in attempt to get rubbed) who made the attempt to reason with the A.C.O but was ignored. Sadly less than 72 hours later the innocent pit bull who loved children and his best friend...a cat, was murdered by Clifton Animal Control without any investigation or compassion. I want to add that the small dog (while being walked by his owner) that was attacked came onto the pit bull owner's property and began to bark at the pit bull provoking an altercation. Furthermore, being that this was a small dog, any vicious attack by a large breed dog would have had resulted in serious injury or even death. No serious injury or death was reported. This is a case of discrimination against the pit bull breed and an A.C.O who feels all pit bull are vicious and should be killed. This A.C.O must be fired immediately!
