Thanks for the support of everyone so far. This will not be easy, but it is worthwhile. I have stepped up because I have seen things that could be done better and I am truly dedicated to creating an industry here where everyone can benefit, and not only a select few. Some people will say that we need to promote how wonderful this city is as a shooting location for Hollywood movies. I keep up with the industry and I read the Hollywood Reporter, one of the premiere trades. I have never seen an ad promoting the movies that have shot here there. As the new Cleveland Film Commissioner, one of the first things I would do, is to remind Hollywood we exist. A simple ad in the Hollywood Reporter would go a long way to reaching out to the community there. Why the current Film Commissioner has never thought of this, is beyond me.
