Jackson's Rescue and Horse Ranch needs a new facility.  Why?   The horses that we rescue can get better attention geared toward their individual needs.  Not clumped together in a field where they have to compete to get to the round bale.  Horses are as individual as we are and they need to have specific attention to help them get ahead.  The more individual CONSTANT attention the horse can get, the better the chances of them having better behavior, getting correct training, and getting adopted. 

When we rescue a horse they are usually underweight and neglected and it takes a horse MONTHS to recover.  Meanwhile you get to figure out what to feed the horse, what medical care he or she may need, and how to approach training to give that horse the best shot and a good forever home.

All of this gets difficult with out a good facility to keep track of everything.  And when winter comes around, say good bye to training for the next six months because the mud is nasty, dangerous to ride in, and dangerous for the humans to get around in.
