The city of Central Falls has made the decision to take down the basketball courts on 1 Sacred Heart Ave. These courts have been used for generations by people of all ages. They want to replace them with tennis courts, they want to prioritize the needs of the few against the needs of the many. These courts have been a staple for the local youth for years keeping kids out of trouble. The courts are packed daily and taking them away would be detrimental to the youth. Many children and young adults are within walking distance of these courts and are able to access them with ease. Keep our children active in a healthy way and keep them out of trouble. These courts can host way more people than a tennis court ever will, 4 people to a court for tennis verses 10-20 people for basket ball with others waiting on the side line to join in. What would this do to our children if they are taken, please sign so we can show the city of central falls that our children and youth need these courts! They need to think of the majority of people and their needs not just the needs of the few!
