Reopen Carson City Range For Instructors

Reopen Carson City Range For Instructors
The Issue
Recently our town was terrorized by a series of home invasion murders. Rightfully so, many of our citizens were frightened and would like to become safer by attending classes which include obtaining their Concealed Carry Permits. This is especially true for many women in our town.
Classes are available, however, the City recently closed the range for even insured instructors with Range Safety Officers which removes the ability for local instructors to train in a safe and controlled environment. Instead of training safely, this will force instructors to either take their students out of the very town they support and live in to another range, or take their students into the hills where all the rest of our local shooters are being forced to go.
We would like the City to reopen the range to the instructors and allow the classes to resume. These instructors are insured and are RSOs and CRSOs and should be allowed to continue to use the range, especially for those bookings that have already been confirmed. Concealed Carry qualifications are at 3, 5 and 7 yards, so it's not something that would endanger anyone at the landfill.
