The City of Busselton currently offers residents a weekly general waste collection and a fortnightly recycling collection.

Most household are now aware of the need to recycle. We are lucky to live in a community where people,value our beautiful environment and our coastline. 

We need to see these values reflected in the way our waste is managed. Our household would halve its weekly general waste if our recycling could be collected on a weekly basis. Currently we fill our recycling and then have to try to store the rest for an additional week. This means we are constantly managing a backlog of recyclable materials while our general waste bin is not filled on a weekly basis.
