Why does Dunsborough need a public swimming pool?

Swimming lessons: Busselton classes are often full or too large and the hour round trip and class times are not practical for many. Yes, we have beautiful beaches, but sun, stingers and other factors make it an unsuitable option for many, including the infirm and very young children .

Rehabilitation: therapy and exercise are important for both the elderly in our community and those recovering from injury or surgery. 

Community: with the growing number of schools in the immediate area, students need an appropriate size pool for competitive swimming. A pool complex would also offer a healthy option for youth in the area to spend time.
