We want the Buffalo zoning board, specifically Ellicott Council Member, Darius Pridgen, to consider the people who have signed this petition.  We feel that the slaughterhouse is inhumane, and a poor reflection of the compassionate people of Buffalo.  The Lackawanna Halal Market already exists and opening another slaughterhouse in Buffalo is unnecessary.  The past public outcry in regards to opening slaughterhouses makes it clear that Buffalo's people do not desire such a business taking root in our home.
