Mark Croce, owner of the lavish Curtiss Hotel, Skybar and many parking lots/ramps in Buffalo, has been getting away with abusive parking costs for far too long. In downtown Buffalo, for many years, if you parked in a lot and either refused to pay the machine or simply forgot, you were issued a ticket, around $35. After multiple attempts, your car would be booted. That'show it should be. However, now that Mark Croce got his sleazy hands on parking lots in the city and knows the law, he has decided nobody gets a fair deal. If you fail to pay at ANY of his lots, he boots your car and you are either forced to cough up $150 (or more) or else have your car towed, at your expense and charged a tow and daily fee. This is a disgusting tactic by Mr. Croce and it needs to stop. The people of Buffalo NY and our visitors work hard and many are already living on the poverty line.
Sometimes life stresses you out and you simply want to visit one of the many establishments in Downtown Buffalo to take in a stress free fun night. Things happen in life, and sometimes we're so wrapped up thinking other things that we forget to pay the meter. LIFE HAPPENS. Not with Mark Croce it don't, he doesn't care that you worked hard for that money, he wants it. He only cares about himself and the millions he's pocketing off of YOU for either forgetting or simply ignoring it. THIS HAS TO STOP.
Stop supporting his businesses, call your local congressman, and sign the petition to put an end to abusive parking lot tactics by Mark Croce and any other slimy parking lot owners.
