“SNAILS TO TAILS” is a horrible, abusive pet store in Brookfield IL. There are rat droppings on the floor, the birds are kept in dirty cages with poor diets, and rodents are kept in the same cage as sick, dying, or dead animals. There are opened supplies and bags on the floor and tanks are stacked on top of each other, despite housing live animals. Male mice (who become territorial/aggressive with each other after reaching sexual maturity and are known to fight to the death) are housed together.

The fish have ich (a parasitic disease) and torn fins, which isn't surprising considering how dirty their tanks are. The bettas are kept in containers the size of a shot glass, which is much too small.

The store is in appalling condition and shouldn’t be operating. This is a clear case of animal hoarding and neglect; the owner doesn’t take proper care of the animals or the store and has no regard for the safety and health of the animals he's selling.

Please sign this petition to demand the city of Brookfield  put an end to this store, and the suffering of the animals within it.
