The City of Brentwood is about to approve the zoning of the property called PD-38 for an emergency homeless shelter. PD-38 is located north of JCPenny's and Best Buy off LoneTree Way and Empire Way. This proposed zoning would allow the building of an emergency homeless shelter. The shelter would be open from 7pm to 7am. When the doors are closed, the homeless will be kicked out and allowed to wander our neighborhoods and shopping centers. Please sign the petition to show the City of Brentwood that we are NOT in favor of this. While we do understand the needs of the homeless, we do not feel that this location is the best solution and will create an increase in crime in the area which will cause a decrease in property values in already established neighborhoods.  Please show your support by signing the petition today.
