Show support and solidarity for the large Ukrainian community in Brantford by correcting Kiev Blvd to Kyiv Blvd.

The City of Brantford can show support and solidarity for our large Ukrainian population by correcting the spelling of this residential street.

• The street has a small number of homes on it, and would be an easy change to make for the City as well as Canada Post.
• The capital of Ukraine is Kyiv, and was legally mandated as such in 1995. Kyiv (derived from the Ukrainian language name Київ) must be used, instead of Kiev (derived from the Russian language name) as the name of the Ukrainian capital. 
  The UN changed the spelling in its ‘Standardization of Geographical Names’ in 2012.

This is not only the right thing to do, it is very achievable.
