The Redwood Motor Inn on 345 18th St North has been converted into a housing facility for mother's recovering from addiction and their children! This essential service in the City of Brandon is helping some of our most marginalized populations. According to an article in the Brandon Sun on Friday, July 7, without the housing provided many of these mother's are at risk of losing their children. Despite the clear benefit and help this service offers our community, SHOCKINGLY the City of Brandon has declined the rezoning application for the property, and the Family Reunification Centre is at risk of being shut down. Please speak up and let the City of Brandon know we stand behind the Family Reunification Centre and the families seeking help there!
