Please boost our petition - it only has days left, and we want at least another 200!

Hi everyone, all 360 of you who have now signed the petition (and there are another 55 who have signed it using our on-line form).  

We now have a Councillor who will take the petition to the Council meeting of 27th November. We must have it there so it can be moved as a motion at the December meeting, as their rules don't allow a motion at the meeting at which it is presented.

Remember, our main ask is that they don't have a citizenship ceremony on January 26. How hard is that??  

So we only have days left maximise the numbers.

Some ways to do it:

1. Email the on-line form here (and url below) to your friends and family asking them to sign (they don't have to live in Boroondara although it helps) https://forms.gle/7tH9ZjwMitaSKXb6A
2. On this change.org petition, click on "view all reasons for signing", click the heart on one you like and it will allow you to share it and the petition on Facebook and/or X (Twitter)
3. Go to the main petition here, and use the share options at the top right, especially Facebook and WhatsApp

Let's get Councillors to take a stand on this or show themselves in their true colours in front of the public via the recording!
